All companies registered in SICEP must, each year and compulsorily make the updating process of financial, legal and curricular information. This process is extremely important, because it will allow maintaining your company status Updated in general status, in the system for potential customers looking for your services.

The Basic Competence Evaluation (only for companies in Chile), is an instrument built by mining companies together with SICEP, aiming to standardize minimum operation requirements in the mining industry. Thus an evaluation (in field) was created, so that each company can check the existence and implementation of minimum management standards that ensure a favorable performance in their business.
This process includes an evaluation in the company facilities by skilled professionals who apply the Basic Competencies Evaluation Survey, which allows verifying the level of implementation of standards in the areas of infrastructure, human resources, methods and processes, environment, risk prevention, connectivity and automation, and community.
The rating of companies is given by the level of compliance with the SICEP Evaluation and classifies the supplier according to the following table:
